My newest book, Love of a Lifetime, is finished and in the hands of my editor. I hope to release it on Amazon within the next few weeks. If you'd like to be notified when the book is released, please sign up for my newsletter on the "Contact Me" page of this website. This is Book 3 in the Finding Love series so the story of Faith and Landris will have some familiar faces for those of you who have read Team Mom and Stealing His Heart.

I love spring; other than fall, it's my favorite time of year. The nice weather has made it hard for me to stay inside, but I've overcome temptation and been working hard on the next book in my Finding Love series. The working title is Love of a Lifetime. This story will be about Faith, the young widow we meet in Stealing His Heart. The storyteller in me couldn't leave her alone. I wanted her to have a second chance at love. I hope to have this book out by early summer.
I wanted to thank those of you who have commented here as well as through my contact page. Your encouraging words are invaluable. I also wanted to thank those of you who've taken the time to leave a review on Amazon. Feedback on how a book is received is so important to a writer. My newest book, Stealing His Heart, is available now on Amazon. It's a complete story with no cliffhangers, though it does contain spoilers for Team Mom. Here's a description:
Just days after her return to St. Marys, Darcy runs into her childhood crush. Given that she was twelve and he was nineteen at the time, it’s not surprising that he doesn’t remember her. And she’s just as happy to keep it that way. Her dreams of him coming back to find her grown up and so beautiful that he can’t help but fall instantly in love with her should have been long forgotten. All he can ever be is a reminder of how much she lost when she veered off the road to avoid an oncoming car. Matt has spent the last five months trying to put a bad breakup behind him. When he meets Darcy, he can’t escape the feeling that he knows her. As circumstances bring them together, he finds himself drawn to this lovely woman who’s as disinterested in dating as he is. His suggestion that they hang out as friends seems like a sensible alternative, giving them the benefit of companionship without the pressure or commitment of a more serious relationship. But does the heart truly forget? Or does it lock away those memories until the person comes along who has the key? My newest book, Stealing His Heart, is complete and going through the final round of editing. I hope to release it in a few weeks (mid-February). In the meantime, I thought you might want a sneak peek at the cover. I think this image captures not only the physical attributes of the characters (Matt and Darcy) themselves, but also the essence of their relationship. Let me know what you think. I love hearing from my readers.
I'm working on a new book about Matt Gibson, one of the supporting characters in Team Mom (Eric's brother). I didn't plan on making this a series, but I liked Matt so much that I decided he deserved his own happily ever after. So, there will be a book 2, not sure about a book 3.
The working title is "Stealing His Heart." I'm still deciding on designs for the cover. I know what I'm looking for; just have to find it. I hope to have this book ready in late December or early January. If you'd like to be notified about new releases, let me know on the "Contact Me" page. As always, thank you for your interest in my books! I'm so excited to announce the release of my newest book, Team Mom. This story grew out of my father's love of baseball, something he passed down to me. Here's a description:
Julie Evans’ calm life is thrown a curve ball when her brother arrives the night before his seven-month deployment asking her to take care of his son. As a preschool teacher, she’s used to dealing with toddlers, not nine-year-olds. Noting her nephew’s interest in baseball, Julie signs him up for little league. She’s anything but thrilled to find out that his coach is a celebrity. Eric Gibson returned to St Marys to lick his wounds and start over. But even in his hometown, he’s known more for his unfortunate appearance on a reality dating show than for his seven years in the major leagues. All he has to show for that poor decision is an ex-wife and a broken heart. Julie’s obvious disapproval makes her the perfect choice for his team mom. If she doesn’t like him, she won’t cause any problems. But will that be enough to keep his growing interest in her in check? And as Julie’s preconceived notions about sports figures slowly unravel, will she be able to resist the man behind the public persona? |
